Then in one moment of greatness he stamped his legendary status in united folklore when he headed in majestically to pull a goal back. A moment which catapulted the red devils to make one of the greatest comebacks in champions league history...a comeback underlined by the sheer class and authority of roy keane's dominance of the midfield as Zinedine zidane and Edgar davids were overwhelmed and eventally overcome.This sums up in a nutshell what Roy Keane represents and means for Manchester United.

Just like Cantona, you leave us in the most unexpected fashion Roy. But perhaps the manner of your exit justifies and confirms the high regard by which you are held by all united fans. That ofcourse is an understatement. A man and a footballer who is a firm believer of his own philosophy and who has no qualms carrying out his words in action. The likes of you are a dying breed. Manchester United will miss you Roy. There cannot and never be another Roy Keane.
