It's been awhile eh...oh well... can't recall the last time i spend this much time away from blogging..though strangely it doesn't feel like it was that long ago, though technically it's been about a month! Work has been well err ... dreadfully boring. though i cannot complain that i've been overloaded with work cause that's simply not the case... not yet atleast.
Watched Charlie And The Chocolate factory the other day,..and it pains me to say this... and i never thought i would use mediocre , Jhonny Depp and Tim Burton in the same sentence,..but that's exactly how i felt the movie rated. A pity really, but as beautful a sight as it was to behold,..for once,..even that was not enough , for me atleast, to carry the movie above mediocrity... and no, not even Depp could elevate the film...if anything, he probbaly was responsible for it being worse than it could have been...sigh... I mean, i am not criticizing Depp,..but for all his versatility,..i suppose this role just isn't for him. I have never been less impressed with a Johnny Depp performance than i've been in this film. Once again, it really pains me to say this..sigh! That little boy from Finding Neverland was good though, and did enough to justify the movie title which should have been Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory! But i suppose Burton made an artistic decison, so that people can tell this movie apart from the original which i hear is far superior. And don't don't take those who say Jhonny depp was superb bollocks too seriously. It seems these days, it's hard for some peopleto accept that even Jhonny Depp could have an off day,... he just can do no wrong! If only they could remove thosee 'Depp' tinted glasses and have a more objective perspective of things!
So Chelsea are Charity Shield winners! I suppose that means United are gong to be premiership Champions seeing now that Chelsea have become jinxed and Arsenal are simply wank! Haw Haw! Well, in all honesty, watching that Chelsea performance, though they might not have played champagne football, they look as solid as ever, and it would take a brave man to bet against them...sigh... if the cunts could field 2 teams, they'd probbaly finish first and second! As for Arsenal,..the french muppets were their usual selves, playing some scintillating football..but they had no answer to Chelsea's wall of defence. Arsenal have no plan B. They can only play one way,..and once opponents have worked that out like United and apparently Chelsea now,..they are easily subdued and have trouble converting all that possession into genuine goal scoring opportunities. I am confident they will not win the league, and there is no question that they will flop in Europe..again. So i suppose that means it will be us and Arsenal fighting for that second position along with the FA cup Again..Haw Haw! On a more positive note, Ferguson has come to his senses and has shipped out both Phil Neville and Kleberson, which still leaves Miller and Bellion...but all in good time! But his failure to have acquired a decent player for that central midfield position who would eventually succeed Roy Keane means our troubles are far from over, and it looks like it's going to be another rough season. Well,... the transfer window is still open, and it will be interesting to see how things would develop in the transfer market over the next couple of weeks...especially now that madrid have openly said United have exprssed interest in that little scouse midget...sigh... we seem to be signing an alarmimg number of Ex-leeds scumbags and scousers....though i can't see where this midget fits in the team, other than on the bench...oh well... only time will tell.
