Sigh...

What a terrible birthday... the worst in living memory. My most beloved didn't wish me...(sigh..i deserve it i guess...), United lose to Porthsmouth... without hardly mustering a fight...back to their normal form apparently after.... last weekend's dizzying heights. Arsenal draw! Normally that would be regarded as something worth declaring a holiday for...BUT THEY WERE FUCKING SECONDS AWAY FROM DEFEAT! ARRRGHHH...I HATE YOU SAINTS!!! All i can say is...well done Arsenal... though i despiset them as much as i would a child rapist,...their comeback right at the death is championsip stuff ...something United were famous for...alas it seems we have morphed into a 'Liverpool' of the previous decade. Yeah i know,..it's a little too early in the season to harbour such thoughts of doom and gloom,...but it doesn't look good with teams like Chelsea hammering 4 goals past their opponents while we are struggling to score, never mind win against inferior opposition( though Porthsmouth were by far the better team in the game and deservedly won it)..sighh...3 days more to the exams...and i'm feeling miserable as a fuckin snail that took a week to a cross the road, and then got thrown back the otherside....

The Day The Unbeaten Run Ended

Played again at 'Bowen'. It's actually Mayflower Campus 2...but to everyone of us who's used to playing weekend football there over the last decade or so,..it will always be known as 'Bowen'. The 'Vargese' team couldn't make it today for one reason or another. So it was the Ex Bowen guys(about 6 of them) , Mugilan, Mukuntan(Mugi's brother), Suresh, me and my brother..yes MY BROTHER! It must have been like close to 3 years ago since the last time me and my brother played together...that was like the day before i got hospitalised (a result of some flesh eating bacterial infection straight out of a horror movie)...December 10, 2001 if my memory serves me right. It wasn't quite like the old days...maybe if my cousin Pragash was around(the cunt's in Australia), it would have been more nostalgic. We sorely mised his predatory instincts...and let me be honest..Mugi just can't run anymore. We were getting walloped by the Bowen guys.It was hardly any surprise that when he swapped with Alvin, we played a whole lot better...and we actually won the 2nd game...well don't know exactly when i'll be playing again at 'Bowen' next..cause the exams are coming up and i probabaly wont have any football action for about 3 weeks or so..that's a long time,..but once the exams are over,..we will probbaly have more football..MUCH MORE!

It feels good now,...though i'm not too sure for how long more this temporary state of bliss is gonna last... But i honestly haven't felt this good in ages... Simple reason for that... United won the french fucks(otherwise known as ARSE-nal)! 2-0 baby! take that you french pedophile... fucking take that all you fucking ABUs... take that all you fans of 'Greatest Fucking Team In The World Ever', and take all you fuckin scumbags who ever doubted us!THERE IS ONLY ONE UNITED! Damn it feels good...Ruud could not have picked a better way to score his goal...a penalty!(how about that for poetic justice) Damn it feels good... especially that moment when Rooney slotted in the 2nd in injury time and Old trafford, the theater of fuckin dreams exploded!...It almost gave me an orgasm...fuck... now that's what i call passion! No bunch of french fucks can ever hope to take that away from us( 49 unbeaten games? so fuckin what?!!)...cause there is only ONE MANCHESTER UNITED! Now that's what you call a 'MORALE BOOSTER'...Haw Haw Haw!

Would?

Know Me Broken By My Master
Teach Thee On Child Of Love Hereafter

Into The Flood Again
Same Old Trip It Was Back Then
So I Made A Big Mistake
Try To See It Once My Way

Drifting Body Its Sole Desertion
Flying Not Yet Quite The Notion

Am I Wrong?
Have I Run Too Far To Get Home?
Am I Gone?
And Left You Here Alone
If I Would Could You?

Rain When I Die

Is She Ready To Know My Frustration?
What She Slippin' Inside, Slow Castration
I'm A Riddle So Strong, You Can't Break Me
Did She Come Here To Try, Try To Take Me

Did She Call My Name?
I Think It's Gonna Rain
When I Die

Was It Something I Said, Held Against Me?
Ain't No Life On The Run, Slowly Climbing
Caught In Ice So She Stares, Stares At Nothing
I Can Help Her But Won't, Now She Hates Me

She Won't Let Me Hide
She Don't Want Me To Cry

Will She Keep On The Ground, Trying To Ground Me
Slowly Forgive My Lie, Lying To Save Me
Could She Love Me Again, Or Will She Hate Me
Prob'ly Not, I Know Why, Can't Explain Me

Bill Shankly's Best Quote Yet

When approached to manage Liverpool, he was asked "How would you like to manage the best club in the country?" He replied "Why, has Matt Busby left United?"

Haw Haw.

Superman Is Dead

Just got the news from my friend Ramesh that Christopher Reeve passed away on Sunday. He survived falling off a horse once..but heart failure got to him eventually. I guess his time was up and it's about time we bid farewell to the greatest Superman of them all...(Superman 4 was seriously fucked though)

Well,..it's been more than a week since my last entry. I reckon this is the longest break i have taken yet from blogging. I guess it gives me a sense of relief to know that i'm by no means addicted to mindless blogging...Can't say the same for certain individuals who figure their daily trip to the urinal is worth our interest or concern... I guess that just sums up the human capacity for self worship which is ridiculously limitless.

Dhino has had to endure some ego bashing recently on this site. I guess it's about time i gave him some credit for what is due. Last Tuesday, we watched 'The Motorcycle Diaries' on his recommendation,..and for once he was spot on. It's definitely a worthy excuse to burn $6.50. It's movies like this that strengthen my belief that hollywood films are largely mediocre in comparison to independant productions.' The Motorcycle Diaries' is a spanish film that traces the journey undertaken by a young 'Che Guevera' across South America with his trusted friend, Alberto. Exquisite cinematography, visual flair, some great acting,...and the heartwarming bond of friendship shared by the 2 main charcters easily makes this one of the better movies of recent times. Once again Dhino,...i give you credit for this recommendation, though you did declare before the movie that you will not take any responsibility if it turned out to be crap, as it wasn't your idea to watch it(that's what you claimed). Haw Haw!

On Sunday, the 'Old guys' reunited once again to attempt to bring back the good old days at what was formally known as Bowen Secondary(now Mayflower campus 2). The Old Bowen guys turned up as well, and it was almost like the old days when we squared off against one another. Despite the obvious drop in football standards,we still had some rollicking good fun. As i crawled through the hole in the fence and walked towards the basketball court, for the first time in many years, i reminicised of the times past from the golden era, that provided some of the most unforgettable moments and experiences during my teenage years(tresspassing, making holes in fences using a wire cutter, the ' Vargese' team who will always turn up an hour later when everyone else are shagged to the bone and win all the remaining games playing 'league, trying to outsmart the patrolling policemen who never fail to turn up to spoil things for us, the occasional bust ups and fights, sitting at the coffesshop after football just talking cock and making jokes at the expense of the fat ice kachang lady). I would do anything to bring back those wonderful days. Those were times when weekend football at Bowen was what one would look most forward to(if not the only thing to look forward to). The times of the 'Spice Boys', the 'Vargese' team, the chinese 'Bonus team'(they were regarded as such cause they guaranteed easy victory),the Bowen guys in their Juventus jerseys, the 'Mats'(what is weekend football without 'Mats'),..are memories to be treasured. Hopefully,... this minor resurgence of weekend football(Sunday football actually..no one plays on Saturday anymore) will become more frequent and develop into a weekly affair again...But i guess that would be asking for too much! Oh and i forgot to mention that once again...some fuckin idiots in blue had to come and make a nuisance of themselves( Mugilan , if you're reading this,..i have nothing against you being a fuckin policeman..Haw Haw!). I guess some things will never change.

Middlesboro once again proved to be our bogey team,..as they got a deserved draw at Old Trafford. Rooney's lack of fitness was obvious as he struggled to come in terms with the Boro defence which was brilliantly marshalled by Southgate. Only the Portugese Wonderboy shined for United. His heroics though were not sufficient for United to take all 3 points. But no worries,...United will be back on track next week when Alex Ferguson comes up against another manager previously associated with Mancehster United.Expect Birmingaham to be soundly beaten!

The exams are coming,..and .in less than 4 weeks,it will be that time of the year again,...and hopefully, i will do much better this semester. Last semester was an unprecedented disaster!

It was subha's birhday on monday. I think that's worth mentioning as a reminder to anyone who might know her and who had no idea about it.
